With more than 20 years’ experience in the industry, we knew we could do things differently. Dame Hygiene was established in 1997 and has grown year-on-year ever since. We believe it’s down to our core values of choice, flexibility, personal service and value for money.
Lots of businesses promise personal service but fail to deliver. Not so with Dame. We’re a small but highly effective team which means we get to know all our customers, allowing us to provide the right products and services and the best value for money. So, in choosing Dame, you’ll never have to deal with a large and impersonal call centre again.

Saffron Walden Golf Club is one of the finest parkland golf courses in East Anglia, set in the picturesque surroundings of Audley End’s famous mansion. In addition, the club also boasts a 140 person capacity clubhouse and restaurant.
The facilities manager discovered that the previous hygiene incumbent’s equipment was outdated, and there was no evidence of maintenance having ever been carried out. After consultation with three providers, the club decided to choose Dame as its new supplier.
Dame rejected the need for a long, onerous and legally binding contract, knowing that, if the client was happy with service and pricing, they would choose to remain as a customer through choice.

Whitwell is stage to coffee mornings, toddler, yoga and pilates groups and many more specialist activity members. They are all run by a different community group. Our remit was to offer an encompassing washroom package which addressed the specific requirements of all users of the community centre.
As the community centre does not have standard opening times, we offered a bespoke service which incorporated their requirements, calling at their site on specific times and days of the week, usually after 4pm to facilitate the washroom servicing. We also provided a “contingency” clinical waste bin, which is used by the community staff to dispose of excess waste over busier weekends and functions. This keeps cost down, instead of the more costlier option of increased services.

As a new enterprise, the remit was to have a colour scheme to complement their décor, we offered a range of choices to fulfil their requirements. After selection of equipment, we installed all the equipment on a weekend, to minimise any disruption to the patronage.
As the centre is not always manned throughout the weekday, we arrange by texting with our contact, the day before we are due to service the washrooms, this arrangement suits both parties and avoids missed services.
